Jedward to represent us at Eurovision?
It feels like Jedward were almost invented for Eurovision – their brand of cheesy pop is just perfect for the annual singing contest. So it makes perfect sense that twins John and Edward Grimes should be battling for the chance to represent Ireland at Eurovision in Dusseldorf later this year.
It has been confirmed that Jedward are officially on the Irish Eurovision shortlist, and the boys will compete against four other acts to win the chance to represent their country. In case you want to know who their competition is it’s rumoured that they’re up against Nikki Kavanagh, The Vard Sisters, Don Mescall and a new foursome who are signed to EMI. Surely the mightly Jedward have this is the bag?
All the acts will work with music biz gurus before they perform their entries on The Late Late Show. A winner will be selected by a combination of vote and the choice of a panel of judges.
Do you think it’s a good idea for John and Edward to take part in Eurovision, or is it too tacky cheesy even for them?

Ted Williams gets a gig!
Hip Hip Hooray for humanity.....last week I reported on "The Homeless Man With The Golden Voice" Ted Williams.....
He was basically picked from obscurity, begging on the streets for a dollar, when the video of his golden voice went to YouTube.....
Now it seems that there's been a massive turnaround in fortunes for Ted and his voice, he is the new stadium announcer for the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA team and now this is his first voiceover work for television......
I said it before, this is a great news sotry.......it would warm the cockles of your heart
And, by the way, I don't care about the macaroni and cheese in the ad.....I'm here for Ted!
